JIC SF1 or tein cs?
I've been doing some research on both coilovers, but haven't had any luck with the first gen gs.If anybody has or ridin on the JIC coilovers please leave some feedback. Both sets offer a great coilover but I'm looking for the best ridin, in terms of comfort.I would like to thank manaray for his help so far on my quest for the perfect coilover. And for anybody who hasn't heard or seen the JIC heres a link.http://www.jic-magic.com/productsjic_susp_sf1.htm

$$ not much difference
When comparing $$ amount the difference isn't very much considering that if I get the tein's I have to wait about 2 months and the jic I can get now, no wait. But after communicating with other members on cl and steve ganz (who has been a huge help) I might end up going with the tein.I just want any info from the first gen crowd if they had any experiance with either, but I noticed that there aren't many of us left on here.

Lexus Test Driver
Well I don't think anybody ever got the JIC's, that's the problem (except for one guy who was selling his car and just wanted us to drool over it).
I think the SC guys love them, though, and that's the best comparison. Both Tein and JIC are HQ, I don't think you can go wrong.
I don't know where all the 1st gen people are. It's nice having a rare car but it also sucks.

I know what you mean.
First, it's a real pita to get parts and when you find them they're really expensive or really far away.(JAPAN) Thanks for the replys.I did a search and noticed alot of sc owners use them but I would think our cars are a little different in terms of suspension. What do you think?

Hey johnee78, sorry for this late response. I have the Tein HA's (not the CS), so I can't really give you any opinions on the comfort of the CS. But I can tell you this, the HA's are pretty stiff. I think if I had to decide again, I would probably spend the extra $$ and go with the CS. Don't get me wrong, the HA's are great. My car handles great (cornering) now but it's those times when I have to travel through those uneven roads. It could get pretty rough. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for, comfort or handling.

thanks again for the reply
I'm looking for the comfort of the eibach set-up, but another 1-inch drop. From what I've read the tein and the jic offers this. The tein seems to be the most comfortable.Just going to have to wait a few months if I go that route.

yes I have
My comparison of the 2 is that the jic is for the performance minded and the tein cs is for drop and comfort.I recently rode in gs with the tein cs and the ride was amazing ( it also had 19's)If your going to go with coilovers then go with the tein cs.
