Talking PIcs of Black Grille

These pics did not have the best light but you can see the grille. I like this look a lot. Better wash my car though!

Default Grille removal process

Here is the procedure for removing the grille. Remove the hood catch bracket, the grille garnish, then the grille itself. B-Which screw is stripped on your car?

B-The latch has two bolts (10mm) to remove it and it just hangs there when you remove the grille. I am confused on what is stripped?

Now that the spacers are on, the coilovers are low, and the roof spoiler is attached, what's up with the grille?

The grill needs to be taken off and I will do it for sure one of these weeks. I have been busy with school and work. Oh yeah, new mods too.

After reading this, you inspired me to do mine. I'm debating whether to paint the "L" black also.

Why Lexus has a charcoal grill insert when the rest of the car is trimmed in black and chrome...

Default I like chrome set against all black grille

On the emblem-I would keep it chrome. I think it looks very crisp against the new black grille. I masked off the actual chrome emblem part and painted the rest of the emblem housing black. It makes all the grille parts nice and black with only the actual chrome logo left in the center. But I have seen the logo all black and its a different cool look as well. What color is your car? Maybe all black would look better? Good luck.

Since the screw was stripped, I've always had to use newspapers to paint because the grill just won't come off. Here is a pic of the work. However it is still drying in my garage right now

My car is looking like darth vader! hahaha
I'll have pics of the finished product tomorrow.
have you fixed the grill?
