I would call Longo Lexus and see if they sell your midnight blue color as a spray rather than a touch up paint.. Perhaps if all else fails, paint it a gunmetal color!

BTW any chance of you putting up a sound clip of your car without the resonators? Thanks

Yo LexAirstro: i really like it man. The job came out real nice. I have been thinking about doing it to my grill also. I have a Blk Lex too. One question. Did you have to scuff up the chrome to get the paint to stick real good,or did you just paint it over. Also about your lights. I cleared out my corners also and replaced the orange bulds with a blue clear color white one. In the day you can bearly see the blue outer color of the bulb, and at nite it lights up white like the head lights. looks reall good.Hope this helps. Once again real nice job on the grill.

Thank you very much for your kind words. You don't have to scuff up the chrome if you don't want to. I decided to prime over the chrome grill and then spray flat black paint on it. I would reccomend scuffing the chrome grill if you plan on keeping it black forever. By not scuffing the chrome, I can always take it off with paint thinner if I chose to and the chrome would be unharmed.

About the corners, I would like to do it your way, but since I have Hid's it is really difficult to match the light output of the hid's. I figured by killing the corner lights while my headlights are on would solve that problem. My biggest fear is signaling and having the person next to me not be able to see me signaling so I chose to keep the orange bulb instead of replacing it with a super white one.

When you do the grill, it will be alot easier for you as I'm sure your screw is not stripped like mine.

Good luck bro. If you need anything feel free to post here or PM me.

Bryan

Wow with the black grill and clear headlights your car looks super sick and incredibly clean. Any side shots of those headlights?

Thanks Yun! Paint the emblems on your G35c? Sure...

I used to have them painted silver, but they are all chrome now except for the front. The front will be chrome as soon as I put on the new emblem.
