Default Supra rims

Anyone here put supra rims on there car before? i'm planning on purchasing a set of supra tt rims alloy finish for around 600 very soon, with tires 235 front and 275 rear. will there be any rubbing issues and will it look good on our car with a 1.5 inch drop? i need new tires soon, so i figured i just purchase a set of rims since tires are gonna cost me 600 anyways for michilin.

what did you use to lower your car 5 inches? are you sure it was lowered 5 inches?? just to clerify, the word "tucked" your saying the rims were NOT flushed with the car, but they were more pushed in right? i just want to distinguished that from the car being lowered so much that the tires were actually in the wheel well. thanks.

because i want to be able to run a staggered setup. gs400 rims are 8 inch wide all around and they look a little too bland for me. i want a sportier and meatier look.

On my 4dr Ive got 18x9s in the front and 18x10s in the rear 255-40-18 front and 285-35-18 rear.
looks good but once I get some more power I wanna get wider like 315's out back.
