Destroyed Body Kit!!! Grrrrrrrrr
So my stepmom this morning decided to back up without looking and destroyed my Veilside front bumper, it also crushed my grill and the hood some what. I think the intercooler is ok but haven't completely checked it out yet. I don't really want to have to buy and entire kit to only replace the front. Does anyone have one for sale? What brand, condition, price, pics? Do I buy a new one from Veilside for $820, or do I go the cheap route which I want to at the moment and buy an entire (5 piece) generic kit off Ebay for $500? What about the hood? Oh and to make it better I just spent a small fortune to buy a new cat since I failed emissions, yeah I failed worse now with the new one!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooooooooooo frustrated right now!

sorry to hear that man, There's 2 pretty clean first gen gs body kits on e-bay right now. But i don't know i would do that since you have an original Veilside kit. Just get a new front bumper and have the hood fixed.

Front Bumper Replacement for you
Dude! I have a Erebuni Veilside style front bumper only that I want to sell. I got it from a fellow CL member who was shipped the wrong kit for his SC. Bumper has never been installed. I decided not to go all out and just put on some sideskirts.
My autobody guy says the bumper is of good quality (fiberglass) and will fit. Of course not as perfectly as the Veilside original.
I wanna get it out of my garage so name your price. Pics attached.

Dude that totally SUCKS. When it rains it pours, doesn't it. Can't help you with the bodywork and such but I'm a little pissed that they told you you needed a new cat and that wasn't the prob.
You should probably go ahead and replace your EGR valve first and then if that doesn't work go for the O2 sensors or maybe the MAF sensor. You can try cleaning the MAF by putting it in a bag with some rubbing alcohol and shaking it, then take it out of the bag and let that @#% evaporate off. Hell that might work on the O2 sensors, too, I don't know. Definitely check out the EGR valve, though.
I just had to spend $400 on my car because some stupid hose exploded...freaky thing you can't really predict. Plus the other day some thug tried to steal stuff from my car but I guess he didn't need any cassettes so I got lucky. Anyway, I know how you feel.

call veilside. in a few weeks veilside will have an awesome warranty program established for anyone owning authentic veilside. You can buy a replacement direct from Veilside for 50% off. Just provide proof of authenticity (picture of stamped serial # inside the bumper) or invoice/packing slip from veilside, as well as a picture of your damaged bumper.

For a grill I honestly can't say what a fair price would be I really have no idea. As far as the bumper I already should have one lined up for less than $200 plus s/h for an aftermarket bumper.
