If you don't make your own from cutting a civic pipe. Injen is about the only other aftermarket short ram intake you can purchase. It retails for 209.95 US.

Default Blitz LM

Blitz LM is another filter and adapter for Gen I. No pipe on that kit though.

The problem with that one is I don't believe the HP gains in which it states. The stock intake slows down alot of air going into the throttle body and the filter doesn't seem like it would do much. If you just made a straight pipe intake with the stock airbox, that would seem much more efficient.

Default which pipe?

Do you know which pipe (Honda?) can be modified/cut to fit the Gen I? Any help appreciated as I have a spare airbox I can use.

It's a modified civic pipe. Here's a pic of the intake pipe I used to have. It's yours for 20.00+shipping. All you have to do is connect it to the airbox and your all set. This will save you the 1-2 hours it took me to cut it...

Thanks! Did you go back to stock? Can I use the factory connectors or do I need to find some (like your blue ones?). Does the pipe make as big a diff to performance as the filter does? Seems like you could fit a much longer conical filter in the airbay...Have to go measure I guess...

Hi,

I went to just the cone filter as I also have exhausts. Since I just have axle back exhausts, I felt too much air was going into my car and since I have axle back exhausts, the air can not come out quick enough. It would be perfect for you since you dont have a cone filter so you can just attach it on there.

Default air filter?

ive heard that getting an intake can screw with your stock computer..... i actually just got a K&L drop in air filter. its a reausable one that i bought for about 60 bucks. it improves airflow without any cutting, or new parts. its just a simple drop in and i think it works
