As it usually turns out with my car, serious problem turns out to be so trivial and easy....of course I can't tell if that's exactly the same problem as with my GS300, but it might be...I used to have the same kind of sound and used to think it was coming from the hood ,,but,,when I listened to it,,,it turned out to be the exhaust pipe (silencer) that produced that sound...check it and make sure it doesn't vibrate..nothing serious...when you open the hood or when the engine is idling you don't hear that sound...but when you accelerate (when rpm are 2500-4000) that's when you hear that sound....Anyway check the silencer (exhaust pipe)

Default thank you

thanks for the help.... it might sound dumb but i was wondering if there was a certain part of the pipe i had to look at. where did you find the problem in yours? it does seem to me like the drive is a little rougher but that might be because i need a wheel reallignment. oh well. im having it checked out today or tommorow
thanks again
