I too would love seeing updated pics of the Tanabes settled in if possible. I'm still undecided between Coilovers and Tanabe springs, and I'd like to see what the Tanabe setup looks like settled in.

Would it be neccessary to roll the fenders with the Tanabes and a 20" staggared setup?

How about TEIN CS and a 20" staggered set-up???
Keep in mind that these pics were taken before they settled in...Updated pics coming real soon..

Awesome car. I saw it when you first posted pics of it... Very nicely done. I guess I'm looking more towards the springs to save a couple hundred bucks, but the coilovers clearly have more of an advantage.

I'm also a fan of I-forged's line and quality. My '95 was on 18" brushed Aeros and Eibachs, now all sold because of a neccessary upgrade to bigger wheels and lower drop.

I'm still sticking with I-forged for the new wheels, though. I personally think they are one of the few available wheels that best compliment the 1st Gen.

thanks..I would recommend that you save a little while longer and go the coilover route because if you want the drop look and still have ride comfort your better off with coilovers, just look at LEXARISTO's car..It totally changed how his car looked!! I have to agree about how the iforged compliment our cars..They give a classy but not too sporty look to our cars and thats the look I was trying to achieve..

Thanks, guys.

I'll take more pics later when I fix some more problems on the window regulator. The driver side and the rear passenger is broken now. Damn plastic pieces.

Thanks for your comments. I was thinking about spacers to make it look more aggressive. hehe
The fenders were rolled a few years ago. Thanks to es3blk94 for this one.

On the back inner fender they bend in the the metal tab that sits in to avoid tires rubbing against it..If you look inside your rear fender then you will see what I'm talking about..Your black fender trim is attached to it..

Very nice drop.

I want the coilovers, but I actually found a deal on Tanabes that caught my eye and wanted your opinions on it. A guy is selling a few DF210 kits for several different cars, one being for the 2nd Gen GS. He wants 135.00 for the brand new springs. Too good to be true, right? And will the ones for the 2nd Gen fit our cars?

if you want a really good deal on springs and shocks then check out this billstein set-up which is very rare to have here in the states..

For this price it's a steal..I am not sure how much of a drop you will get from it but it's cheap enough to find out...Hope this helps..

Thanks. Tanabes made for the second gen gs will not fit the 1st gen gs. I have more suspension info on my 1st gen website. Click on the link in my signature for more info.

The lowest price you will find the Tanabes for our cars would be 215.00.
