Smile POLL Who wants sway bars for JZS147 ?

Ok, I would like to know who would be intrested in a group buy on custom built swaybars for the first gen JZS147 ?
I am going to have some fab'd up.

What would be a reasonable fee for these bars and how much intrest do I have for serious buyers ?

Thanks

James

I would like to go all the way with it.. bushings, joints, and why not have them powdercoated too..

With ..say ..10 confirmed buyers I think $500.00 is reasonable for a front/rear set.

Let's work on the specs of the bars.. what diameter?

Epik, I am looking into the bar diameter. Idealy I would like to copy the diameter of the ARC bars. I need to find out the Diameter and if they are hollow or solid. I have an old copy of Hyper Rev aristo volume II that has some info. I would also like three points of adjustment on the rear bar so we can setup for neutral handling and over or understeer.
I will work on the details and the pricing.

I would be interested with the bars and bushing if the price is right. If Indypwr confirms the rear Supra sways fit on our cars I would get those, but I would still be interested in the front sway bar from you since it has been confirmed that the front Supra sways would not fit.

Indypwr, I have contacted Davegs4. This poll is only to gauge intrest, if we have enough intrest then the appropriate parties will be notified. But thanx for the look out.

You don't have a choice for a metal bar (non-powdercoated) with bushings. That's all I really want, I don't need my bars to be colored because it would draw too much attention. Flat black is fine by me

I suppose powdercoating it black would be okay, unless powdercoating costs a lot (I have no idea how much extra it costs). But my stock swaybars that are 11 years old hasn't peeled yet, so I guess a decent paint job would be okay, but if the powdercoating doesn't cost too much I would probably go for it. Do you have any estimates as to how much powdercoating would cost?

93LexoGS300, When I get home I am going to call a few places to find out what the powder coating will cost. If I do one I am going to have all of them done. I had some honda valve covers coated in that red wrinkle finish that the Type Rs have. There was only 20 dollar difference in haveing one done vs 7 of them.

How about an option for those not interested in upgrading their sway bars?

Not trying to knock your hustle or anything, but there doesn't seem to be a great turnout at the poll.
