You should use a heat gun instead of using the baking in the oven method.By using a heat gun you have more control on whats being heated up.So when you separate the headlights make sure you keep the original glue in place because when you go and re assemble the lights you want to heat up the factory black glue and thats what you will be using to reseal the headlights. Nothing is better than factory sealing ..I have done the retro to my lights and I have taken them apart 3 times and have used the factory glue with no problems at all..
