The first night was trying it, I needed to hold up the release lever for the e-brake pedal with my left hand, drive and upshift at the same time with my right...not the easiest thing to do. So after I figured out that using the e-brake to initiate the slide is a necessary next step, I started looking at the simplest way to disable the lever and just turn the e-brake into a non-locking pedal. Sort of like the drift/spin **** in my Hachi... locks the ebrake button into the handle. I grabbed a flashlight, removed the lower plastic cover down there and started pushing the ebrake and pulling the release while I was watching it. I found the clip that engages the teeth on the pedal, grabbed some pliers and yanked it out. Voila!

I am getting a lot of practice in the force needed to stomp the pedal and as you can see from the pics, it works really well. I cant wait to get the rim fixed and get back out there with more power in the car too. I'm on the hunt for an LSD from a MK4TT also, and considering looking into a standard ebrake lever.. maybe grafted in from a Supra or SC300, but til then at least I'm having fun with what I've got.

I wanted to start last night, but I had to work on a customer's car after hours. Today I plan to finish pulling the head off the JDM GTE motor and veryify that the block is in good condition before I even touch the GS. The car is still running great right now, except a flat tire and busted upper rad hose. I'm probably going to "officially" start the project as far as pulling the motor from the GS300 tomorrow night. I'll be snapping pics like mad I'm sure.

I think there is an area on the CL Main forum for approved vendors. Possibly there is a thread on there about how to set up a GB or something.. or get approved?
