I just recently bought my 93 GS and it has components for an integrated car phone including: antenna, control buttons near turn signal stalk, and some kind of cable thing sticking out of the floor in front of the middle rear seat. Does anyone else have a similar system? If so, is there a way to connect it to a cell phone via an adapter or something? If not, has anyone attempted to remove the components? How?

My 96 had it too.took it off.needed more room.the brain was in the trunk ,next to the sub on the top deck,to the left.Mic is on the steering wheel.

The cable coming from the back seat?dunno where that go's

You could probably use it somehow. It's designed for an analog phone, though, so that cable probably runs to the antenna which you would not need to use. Does the cable look like a coax?

If you want to mess with it I have some wiring diagrams i can email you just pm me your address. Maybe you can rig something up.
