Hopefully you get it off because I noticed that when you painted your grill you taped off parts of the hood and did it in the driveway. Doing it this way you would probably get overspray on your car if the wind gusts and you might get dust on the freshly painted grill so the paint won't be smooth.

Default Grille removal process

B-Like I been saying... These guys are right, you could drill it or use an easyout. But that screw is irrelevant as it is not part of the removal of the entire grille. See here:

So remove the bolts and the rest of the garnish clips/screws and you are gold! I circled the one's I can see in your picture. I sent more info in a PM. Good luck!

I know this works first hand my brotha:

How is this effecting you from taking the grill off?To remove the grill from the hood, the screw that is stripped does not matter, you are going to paint the trim and grill anyways.right?

Thanks alot Jess and Leo for all your efforts. I will do this again and try to get it off. Last time I took off all the screws, the area that was still holding it on was where the stripped screw is..

B-Sorry, but the screw you are talking about is in the picture of the grille on Lexus4jess2's desk! Can't be the issue...be sure to take off the trim nuts (2 on each side) as well as the 3 bolts (5 all together).
