Default Rebuild window regulators?

Anyone know where I can get my window regulator assemblies rebuilt? Mine are broken and the cables are screwed, brand new ones cost 500 bucks each!!! So I am looking for any place that can rebuild them.

I don't remember the regulator costing that much. I think the dealer is including the price of a new motor, which you might not need. Here's what I posted in another thread, you may have the same problem:

I just want to clarify, you hear the motor running and a click sound, but the window does not go up. Okay, I had this same problem too. The problem is that the motor is not hooked up to the window, that's why you hear the motor but the window does not go up. The clicking sound is coming from a piece of plastic that holds the window to a cable that the motor moves up and down. The plastic is broken, that's why when the cable moves it tries to catch onto the window but it doesn't.

To fix this, you have to take off the door panel and remove the cable assembly. The cable assembly consists of a 1 1/2 ft long metal track and it has the cable and the motor attached to it. You have to remove the motor from the metal track and get a new one from the dealer. I forgot how much it cost because I did this 2 years ago. Then just install the motor on the new track and then install the track. Make sure the window works properly before putting the door panels back on because it is easy to forget something.
Another member had the same problem and the dealer was charging $500 for parts, but the price included a new motor that was not needed. If you don't need a new motor the price is significantly less ($250). https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ndow+regulator

For some reason places around here like junkyards gasp when I mention lexus and jack up the price. Is there any good place online to look aside ebay for the motors?

So your motor is bad or is it the regulator or both?

Here are a couple places you can look online, they're in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...buy+used+parts
