Default Looking to buy a 96 GS300 - need some help

Hey Guys...

I am looking to pick up a 96 GS300 for a daily driver. I would like to know from the experts on this forum what are key point of failures ot items to look for on the 1st gen GS300's.

What kinda mileage is too high for a 96 GS300?
What seems to be chronic problems with a 96 GS300?
Seeing that lotta these car are modded what should I look for with respect to electrical and Audio and wiring problems?
Besides the regular oil changes and coolant changes... what have you guys had to repair andreplace on ur GS300's?

How often does something go wrong with the GS.

Are there factory repair manuals that i can purchase to properly maintain my new car?

I am looking for a CLEAN.... one or two owner GS300. Black exterior preferred. Stock 16" wheels, Stock Radio if possible.

Any tips or advice from you guru's would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all in advance.

Sometimes the search function works better than sarcasm.

What do you guys use to scan error codes on 93-95 GS assuming they are OBD1 96-97 are most likely OBD2 so i have the scanner i use on my IS300 for that.

Are there any pestering error lights or codes that arise with old age? I already found out that black interior is out of the question.... I will deal with a tan or light grey interior.. thanks.

Keep em coming.
