no my dad fixes cranes for a living and those are from the cranes turbo piping hehe.... they are high torque.
Also although this is a good cold air setup i'm doing something different soon. I got my idea from comptech. I will make an airbox similar to stock but bigger. Inside the air box will be a cone filter, eventually i'll upgrade to a foam cone, then there will be a pipe going into the box from behind the foglight cause i'll be taking those out. That way a little less noise, still have cold air, and better protection against the elements mostly rain.

I see a number of issues with your setup there. First, that 90 degree bend is going to affect air velocity through the pipe. Second, the ribs on the aluminum piping are going to create horrible turbulence and drag. You need to use something that is smooth on the inside.
Between the bends and the ribs, I think this would actually defeat the benefit of colder air and in the end reduce overall power.
Lastly, the length of the tube has an impact on torque and many true CAI intakes are specifically tuned for cars. With this setup, you probably have no idea what the effect is going to be. I have no idea how much research has been done for our cars and this engine, but I would guess the Supra NA guys would be the experts on this. Something to consider given what you are trying to do.
BTW - I wouldn't call it a true CAI. True CAI's are tuned for the car and the engine (length of the pipe, diameter of the pipe, degree and number of bends, etc). You simply put a tube in there to try and draw cooler air. I'm sure I can dig up some details on this if you care - I know some guys who race and who have researched and tested this a tremendous amount on the Nissan Sentra platform for racing purposes.

its all good man this isn't a race car.... and i sure feel better throttle response and power with this setup on a cool day.
But yes i know it is not perfect its a prototype my new setup will be as i described it above. About the angles though i dunno because if you've ever seen subaru 2.5rs AEM short rams or cold airs they have 150-160 degree bends because the throttle body comes out at the rear of the engine.... i think as long as they are mandrel bends and there aren't too many of them things should be ok..... I will post pics of my new setup as soon as I get the airbox fiberglasses and things figured out.
