If your serious about doing a swap, PM me and I will give you the information to a buddy of mine that does swaps on the first gen gs300..I will tell you now that your looking around $6500 and up depending on what kind of horsepower your wanting to make..And no there is no cheaper way to do a swap unless your doing it yourself...

thats a great price.... I was thinking about doing the swap sometime with my dad in the garage cause he is a mechanic. I know i can tackle the simple things.... but where i think i'd have trouble is any custom fabrication and on the electronics swap. I know there are a ton of wires that have to be either swapped or extended when you do the swap. I figure a turbo kit cost like 4-5k and for that much i could have the same hp and a much lower mileage engine.

The swap is very time consuming and if you don't know what or how to do it then it can very challenging..He has done many GS swaps and he is currently doing a swap in a 95 SC300..This swap also includes converting the twin turbo set-up to a single turbo so that it fits in our car without having to remove the heater core housing..

you can get your tranny built to shift better and handle more power. might as well do a highstall torque converter while at it. Last time i checked this was pretty expensive though.

yeah I know it's expensive but I would rather spend a little extra money on buildind a trannie that can hold the power then to keep buyins stock ones that I tore up. Wont the high stall will make driving a pain I want the best of both worlds. Having luxury and speed is the best combo to me, I dont want to have to rev to three grand just so I can pull off from a light
