I did a write up a year ago in the archives regarding how good OEM brakes are. They wont squeak and they are damn good in my opinion.

all good breaks will have break dust. only certain breaks will have less break dust but i heard the stopping power are not as good cause they don't stick as well.

I've heard good things about EBC GreenStuff and Hawk HPS pads, both, supposedly provide more responsive braking and less brake fade over OEM pads and reduce the amount of dusting...

here, check'm out..

I had some Axxis pads on my car last year and they wore a big groove into the rear rotors and created a nasty vibration while braking. I had to replace the pads and rotors, so I bought some Mountain rotors at One Stop Undercar and also bought the OEM pads. I don't have any braking problems. They don't squeek and there is not much brake dust. You will always get a little bit, but it's so little on mine that you really can't see it from a distance and it takes 4-5 days of driving to really see any at all.
