Angry Car smoking! Transmision fluid!?!

Alright guys, (*@!#$) i just came back from a nuts and bolts store and still no luck. Well, when i pulled of the highway my car started smoking from the bottom!?! It smelled like oil, so i pulled over and it looks like it's my transmision fluid!?! I purchased it from a lexus dealership and they gave me 4 quartz of the red stuff. Well i drained it from the plug at the bottom this saturday and filled it up with all 4 quartz! Looks like the tranny fluid is hitting the bottom of the manifold and then burning!?! did i do something wrong!?! did i over fill? i could never get an accurate read on the stick at first (thinking the oil is still runnning down?) Is there something else i should have done?

Please help guys, thanks!

Exclamation

When you drain your tranny fluid you should only need about 2-2 1/2 quarts to refill..So it's a possibilty that you may have overfilled your tranny and it's overflowing..You may want to drain your tranny fluid again and start with 2 quarts and then fill as needed...

They probably thought you were doing a flush instead of a drain and fill..

Just drain it and fill it, and you may want to clean it with a degreaser so that it doesn't continue smoking..

I forgot where you are in Texas if you mentioned it sometime, but I'm in Dallas and I've been taking my car to Jason at JP Importz because whenever I work on my car myself something bad happens. My car's there right now, lol. Another coolant leak.

Anyway call him 214-221-3135 I'm sure he'll have an idea on where you can get that bolt and anything else that you might be concerned with.

Hopefully he has this bolt, it's different from all the others with a special "fat" head! I'm from dallas also, any meets around here!?!
