Well it finally cracked, ever since i purchased the car it had a crack underneath the wood grain but still intact. Well friday i had my car detailed and i guess the guy cracked it! can't really blame the guy! I think i've seen them for sale somewhere on here but can't remember nor find. I only need the middle console wood grain (not the ash tray). Can anyone help!?! Let me guess..........................johnee78!?!

Sorry to read about the wood grain cracking..It's very typical on our cars because of the age and the way it is made..Try american stitches because they do the woodgrain upgrade on the steering wheels and they may offer the same service for the center console..Heres the link to their site..

i got a replacement for the area around the shifter. very easy install. matches the original perfectly.

post a pic of your cracked middle console... probably you can have it redone....

perhaps you can even do it in blackwood ...

I bought mine at www.exoticwooddash.com and it looks like a perfect match. And they sell the shifter surround piece separately for $79.
