Default fuses?

can someone please tell me were the cigarrette lighter fuse is? thanks

under the hood. just pop open the black box located under the hood just behind the battery on the driver side and it should tell you which fuse is for the cig.

there isnt one under the hood, i looked there earlier, on all my previous cars its under the driver dash however i cant find one there on my gs

Actually, if the front cig outlet is out its probly just a bad connection. i had the same problem when i first bought my GS and just had to resauder some wires on the back of the outlet.

man i took out the ashtry lighter part......and the lighter is getting power, just not working....i used a volt meter and it shows its getting power but it doesnt work....so i put a another lighter in and it still doesnt work..

The problem with mine wasn't the power. There was 12v up to the cig outlet. its a little hard to describe but basically there is 2 small wires on the back of the cig outlet that provides the power to either the inner or outer ring and it was a bad connection. its been a while.

it may not be the case for you,

ill check that out, the one in the rear works the one in front doesnt and the light in the fornt ashtry wont work either
