Default Finally...Trunk Lip Spoiler

After having it in my trunk for almost a month. I finally got a friend to help with the install. Bad camera phone picture. And the car is wet because I only cleaned the trunk to prep for the install.

Better pics to come.

Very nice Kevin! I'm glad I was able to help you get one.

Hey,

The strut bar is doing just fine : ) Here's one I shot from the top. I'll get a side pic for you after lunch.

I've had the car on Intrax for a couple years now. 1.75" front and back according to their site.

I'd have to disagree with the ride being "terrible" or "trash" as some would put it. Going on 2 years now and I haven't had any problems. I had Eibachs before and switched because they had no noticeable drop. I did notice a change in ride quality after switching...but not much for the worse. In comparison, the Eibachs felt a bit "tighter" in the corners than the Intrax springs (prolly due to the 1.25" drop on Eibachs being better matched to the factory shocks). My car's not bouncing all over the road and springs aren't sagging as many folks would suggest.

Yes, I'm also using spacers. H&R 25mm in the rear. Had them for almost 1/2 year now. No problems.

You can check it out sometime. Eventually we'll have a meet again...huh Bryan?

The sideskirts are from Erebuni. The trunk lip I got from LexAristo (Bryan). No drilling is needed. It's held on by very strong double-sided bonding tape.

The trunk lip is easy to install...just be sure to have a trustworthy friend there to help. Very tough to do it alone...unless you got super steady hands : D

It took a little measuring and a little eyeballing...but I was able to get a good even fit.

The 3M stuff is really sticky...so once it's on, it's pretty much staying for good...unless you cut/pry it off.

Bryan can hook you up with it. Good stuff.

That was one of my most favorite mods (aside from HIDs). I had the same rims as you on the same color car and the spacers make it look more aggressive, especially when looking at the back of your car.

I liked this mod so much that I did it with my GS4, it looks so good

Kevin- If you're still using the stock shocks, I'm pretty surprised. My stock shocks blew a couple of weeks after lowering it with Eibachs. I could tell because it bounced a little more and the ride was harsher. I ened up putting in KYBs and they settled down the ride and last quite a long time (130k miles). Maybe if you ask Santa really nicely he can get you some new shocks for Christmas

If you also ask Santa's Wife, The elfs, The little helpers and the Angels, perhaps they would get you some coilovers as well. Or maybe even a gs400..
