Default Anybody know where I can get a 140 amp alternator or higher?

Having a LITTLE trouble here, I'm in need of some Juice! Heeeeeeeeeeelp!

ouch thats alot for the alternator.... would be nice if they offered just a core replacement. Oh well time to save up.

You can get a 160amp for about half that price

Hmm thats interesting.... is the stock one 80 or 100 amp? I was looking for places that i could send my used alt to and they could rewind it and send it back. Much cheaper than buying a whole new alt and serves the same purpose.

stock is 80amps and once the case is hot it is 64amps

I too am REALLY interested in a new alternator. I'm having enough problems already, and with subs and Xenon (I guess not anymore) on the way its going to become a even bigger problem.
