i just saw the video- sounds great.

i bet you were like -

about the wheel well shield - yeah- please make sure you get that put on asap. i had a CAI on my infiniti g20 and i would never ever drive w/o the shield just because it's too much of a risk.

some intakes have a secondary input of air that comes through a pressure valve. when the original filter gets clogged or there's more resistance to pulling up air than just air- the secondary filter opens up near the engine bay to allow air to still come in and the water to stop down by the filter.

I have had my cold air setup just like lexaristos' for the past year and a half. I do have a fender lining though and I have my fog lights removed and replaced with mesh. Its a very significant gain and i'm in chicago and have been in downpours, puddles, snow, you name it. 0 problems.

Isn't your setup with a different pipes with too many bends?

This is what you said son,

"I have had my cold air setup just like lexaristos' for the past year and a half."

Our cold air setups are different.

that's awesome bro, seems like you are really going on to custom stuff huh? just be caerful though, the intake air filter looks awefully low and so unprotected. you don't want any water to get into it man, it won't be pretty

Looks nice Bryan, but I too would suggest that you shorten the length of it so it's not so low, especially since your car is very low.

Version 2 has been completed and is fail proof. The lower part of the fender lining protects the filter from getting wet.
