Anyone know of a camber kit?
Does anyone know of a camber kit for the first gen GS? My car is lowered with Eibachs, so it's not very low, but the camber adjustment that is possible with the factory set up is not enough. My front tires get trashed on the inside edge very quickly, which really sucks. Have any of you guys found a kit or done something that works in addressing this issue? Thanks.

Interesting. I used the Eibachs on my car for several months and had no inside edge wear. I have also had my HKS coilovers on now for several more months, and again no inside edge wear. Are you wearing more on the front or the rear tires? I dont have any wear on my inside fronts and I'm running about 3* neg on the fronts.. now the rears.. they dont last long enough to wear since they are up in smoke, but I'm running about 2.5* neg back there.
My alignment shop is able to dial in about -2.25* in the front and about -1.75* in the rear b/c I'm looking for negative camber... so you should be able to get some adjustment. What you may want to check is the toe setting though.

I don't have any abnormal wear on the rear tires. In the fronts, my Michelin Pilot AS tires were shot on the inside edge in 6 months / 8000 miles. I watched the tire pressure very carefully. Maybe I should have run then at 36 PSI to "crown" them and try to keep the exposure of the inside edge to a minimum. The alignment shop said they did the best they could do with the camber adjustment, but that it was not within spec.

Hmm.. well I'm not trying to set my alignment to factory specs, I'm actually dialing in more negative camber in the front to to minimize understeer since I drift the car. I run about 38 psi in the front tires and 36 or so in the rear, depending on the tires.. it varies. Right now I have Michelin Pilots 245/45/18s in the back at 40psi .
Good luck
