New Guy looking for first gen. PLEASE HELP
Hey guys:
Love the brotherhood / sisterhood in this first gen forum. I am looking to buy a Lex GS300 in Texas 1995 with 89000 miles for $8 g's. What do you think I need to do to get it checked out. I really like these cars and looking to mod it out in the future. Do you think price is right? Color is pearl white with the beige / bronze bottom with the pinstripe down the side.. car looks like it is in good condition from the pics the guy sent me but I will be checking it out on thursday... Please advise. Kind of worried about buying a 10 year old car, but at the right price with low miles I hear these things last...
Regards, That boy, Rajshnu

Sounds like a good price, depending on how everything else checks out. I bought my 93GS3 from TX with about 84,000 on it and price was a little less than yours. It was immaculate. The cars are great as long as you keep them maintained. Makke sure the 60,000 service has been done. If not plan on spending around $1500 to get it all done including the 90,000 service.! CHECK THE SERVICE RECORDS!!! That will tell you if it's a good deal. Read a few other threads to see what should be done. Welcome, You just missed out on the seats, you'll have to wait till the next GB.

do a carfax and check up on its service records. otherwise, price sounds pretty good.
i'd also check if it comes with TRAC, otherwise you'll be more prone to sliding around in the rain.
