If I don't cut the plexiglass, do you think its safe if I put it underneath the battery?

Finally do they sell covers so I can cover the ugly looking Negative terminal connector?

thanks alot
As i said before, get the optima spacer! The plexiglass top piece is a good idea, as it keeps the metal hold down from cutting into the battery over time. Yes, you can get a cover for the negative terminal, walmart or most parts stores should carry it.

Ok Ya'll, I fixed it today. Put the plexiglass underneath it and all is good. Here is a pic.

BTW I threw the spacer away unknowingly the same day I threw away my old battery. lol

nice looking setup. this is one of my favorite gs' on this forum
how has the intake been working with you? any water problems?
also, why did you keep the front part of the intake on? (the part that partially shields the ac fan)

sweet gs man.

Thanks alot bro!

Cold air Intake has been great! I put the fender lining back in on the wall as well as underneath. Also the cold air goes through the side of the IS fog light since it is smaller than our stock ones. The filter is placed 3-4 inches above where the cold air gets in so there is no way water can get in.

As far as keeping the metal heat shield that shields the ac fan, is just incase my hid ballast decides to move even though it is on 3m tape. Even if it moves, it can't hit the fan since its blocked off.

will help secure the battery, cuz the heat in the engine compartment will crack your pc. of plastic between the battery and the battery holder. That pc. on plastic looks tacky.

It's so tacky, it's not even visible to the naked eye because its underneath the battery.

He can also put a pc of wood or plexi under the battery, this way no one will see it and give the battery a firm hold.Try that.

It's always been underneath the battery Jess... I'm still wondering why you said I had it on top when it's been at the bottom.

oop.din't read the last post.I see you put it under the battery.I see your skills are improving. But do you still have that air filter going down to the wheel well.I took mine off,cuz you gjust get hot air ,even if you put that shield.you get the same air flow. The air filter is just for look.haha
