If you chop the DF210 springs. The KYB's are made for X amount of travel and within certain parameters. Once you exceed these the shock will not function properly. It may overheat, blow seals, bottom out and bend which will then lead to blown seals etc...

i thought that any springs would need replacing in about a year. ive even heard that the eibachs need a replacement every year. is this true? if not then im for sure getting some.

I have a 275 on now and theres almost three inches of room on the inside before the rim or tire would come close the the strut or any other moving part.
