1998 Trans Am wheels on a GS300?
Will aftermarket wheels that fit on a 1998 Trans Am fit on a 1994 GS300? The guy is claming that they will fit a 350Z but doesn't know if they will fit the lex. They are 5-lug but he is unsure of the pattern.
Curious...they are nice wheels.

I checked out the wheels on the link. They're HP Evos, not that pricey at all...actually, I think you can find a set of 19"s with tires for well under 2G's...
Here's a pic of a first gen with HP Evos

Seize,
Those are some sweeeet pics!!! No joke.....I'm drooling. Perfect drop and love the side skirts. I am saving up for the Veilside KI kit (the less agressive version they make)
Veilside KI it -----> http://www.i-m-racing.com/veilkibodkit1.html
You have convinced me that the EVO/mesh style is definitely the way I want to go. I'm still looking around. There is a guy that has a contract with Speedy wheels out of Australia that makes an EVO knock-off that look pretty good. Speedy doesn't sell a 19" but they make it for him (according to him). He has great feedback too. Thinkin' bout it.

I'll post some pics of my lex with the tanabe DF210 drop springs (uncut) with my new wheels if I ever find some. Don't want to show it with stocks.
Thanks for everybody's help.

HP EVOs - Nankang v. Hankook
Oh yeah...those are hot. It's a lock. I am getting HP EVOs...I'm thinking 19" X 8.5" in the hyper dark silver (they are not black...just a deeper hardier silver). The two places that I could find with reasonable prices were selling them for under 2 grand. One is for $1795 (with Nankang tires) and the other is $1899 (with Hankook Ventus). Shipping, balance, and hardware included with 245/35/19 tires. From searching the forums it seems as though the Hankook is the much better tire and I will pay the higher price for them. Any thoughts?

I'm running Hankook Ventus Sport k104 which are the flagship line of Hankook tires. Make sure they are giving you those as those are pure quality.. My original perception of Hankook wasn't that great, but I figured if I am going with Hankook might as well go for the best tire/model available.
This is my second time around with Hankook and I will continue to use them as they have been great for me. No complaints from me .
The sidewalls go a lil inward as opposed to the Michelin Pilots I used to have.
The 275/30/19 tires retail for 229.95 and the 245/35/19 retail for 189.95. Just so you can factor in the price you are paying for the tires because the rims usually cost less than 1g.
Hope that helps.

That helps alot. More knowledge = more bargaining power with some of these dealers. Now I know the breakdown which helps me figure out if I want the package or put my own tires on them. I'll find out if they are Sport k104. You have got be careful with some of the delears out there. Some guy just tried to sell me some RH Evolutions with Pireli tires for 2 grand...and called them Racing Harts. Luckily I saw a post when I was doing a little research that RH is not Racing Hart!!
Knowledge is power...you gotta do your research...especially when you know as little as I do.
Perfect timing...this just came in from www.TheSpeedDepot.com via e-mail while I was posting:
Good Morning:
I have listed your cost and details for a wheel and tire package below.
(4) 19x8.5 HP Evo 5x114.3 Hyper Silver Dark
(4) 245/35/19 Hankook Ventus K104 Z-Rated
(1) Mounting and Balancing
(1) Mounting Hardware Kit
$ 1781.00 + shipping
Sounds about right...according to LexAristo's numbers
