There are tons of threads on window tinting throughout this fourm and I am still in the dark. Pun intended. I have a Black '94 GS 300 and am ready to finally put some tint on it. From previous threads it looks like Cali is pretty strict on tinting but it seems as though they won't bother you if you have minimal tint on the windshield, 35% on fronts and 5-25% on the rear windows. Does this sound about right? So I think i have also come to the conclusion that metallic tint is bad...3M tint good? ceramic good? I don't have GPS but may get it in the future. I don't need Limo but want as dark (black not green) as possible. Would love some suggestions, particularly from someone that has tinted a black first gen. Thanks as always.

Let me also say that I have appreciated all the help I have received so far. maybe some day i can return the favor...how about when I swap my engine for the chaser he he he or maybe I'll just host a SoCal Lex party...
