Installing A Body Kit For The 1st Gen....
I Gotta Quick Question For Ya I Was Wondering Do Any One Took Of The Enforcer Bar On The Front And Back When Ya Install Ur Bodykits Kuzz I Took Mind Of When It Was Install It I Just Wanna Know If Anyone Took Theres Off

yeah i had to take off mine
in the front atleast
makes me think if these companies put a little more thought into it
and could make it all work together
id like to make a body kit where you have your own design
but make the mounting holes perfect

is that illegal to take that out kuzz i had into a krash only on the front didn't touch the engine just f-ck up my kit n the hood n left fender my insurance kame n look at it n say it was total n the insurance said there was one problem the enforcer bar was removed i didn't say jack he told me that it was iilegal 2 take it out but i'm keep the kar kuzz it 's repairable tho so now i'm trippin wat they are goin say next anyone in this kinda shoes b4?

i'm in LA i had a bodykit on my kar when the front kit was install it was removed kuzz it didn't fit so now i'm waitin to see wat they gonna tell me kuzz they itz a total loss

Yeah, that's the risk you take when you mod the car. Everyone with JDM kits take the risk. That's why a lot of times if possible, shaving it might be a better option. Good luck with your situation.

Why don't we compile a list of body kits that require the removal of the crash bar, and a separate list on ones that only need to be shaved, and another for ones that fit perfectly, etc...
I don't have a body kit so I can't go first.....
Though specifically I am wondering if the Admiration body kit require the bar to be removed.

I like the Winn Racing knockoff (Erebuni) but most of the websites that list it say that extensive modification is needed to fit the US model. Does this mean the crash bar? If so, I would just use a cutting wheel to contour the bar to fit and then weld in filler plates to keep the crash bar for insurance purposes and rigidity. Anyone know?
