I am having trouble installing the rear door panel on my '93 GS300. There is a rail/seal type of thing that clips to both the top of the panel and the door. Does anyone know the correct sequence to do this to install it correctly? I tried and tried but it is not fitting right. Any help is appreciated.

look at the front door and see which side the rubber face is facing and which saide the fuzzy face is facing.
cant exactly remember how I did it when mine fell off, but i looked at the other doors and used those to at least make sure it was facing the right way

I see the way the seal fits. That makes sense. It clips onto the door and the door panel but I can't figure out which order to do it in. It seems as if I fasten it to one there is no way it will attach to the other and vice versa.
Suggestions?

k, fuzzy side goes against the window
take the clips and just go straight down with them, you can see slits on the door frame
kinda roll it a little, and it should stay put
thats it, it doesnt connect to the door panel, just the frame

When I removed it (which had not been done since car was new) it sure seemed like it was attached to both as it was real hard to pop panel loose at the top. I have reinstalled it but it does not seem as tight as the other rear panel which has never been removed. Also, when it is out you can see how the rail fits into the panel. That is too good of a fit to be coincidental. Maybe I will pop it off and try again. Still open to learning the trick to this.
Thanks, Ozzie

k maybe this is a better way of explaining it
you see the plastic tabs on the rail? where they connect to the rubber inside of a slit. you thats where the edge of the frame should should be inside of. if its done right the plastic tabs will point INSIDE the car and then you put the door panel on. the fuzzy peice you see is actually already on the door panel and doesnt come off easily

Put window down all the way. Snap trim piece onto dooe panel. Put fuzzy partin first and roll it in to the space between window and metal of door frame. It shoulg go in tightly and then once it's almost all the way in, push down and in on the door panel top and it will snap in.
