Complete blackwood dashkit!!
Ok i've been in contact with Burtman Industries about a dash kit for the GS300. There appears to be a long forgotten kit for the GS that covers EVERYTHING. It's what i've been looking for for quite some time. The color would be synthetic black marble and it looks great!! Burtman Industries is the primo dash kit maker so you can except the finest quality. Now the problem is in order to do it we'd need 10 people because the trim has to be all put into the system again.
The heated seats, vents, mirror control, overhead, heated seats, glovebox, cupholder speedometer, vent control, center vent, ashtray and surround, and shifter surround are all included!!
This is the real deal its the FULL set, heres a picture of the color.
The dash kit picture is too big to post so email me @ citizensnips@hotmail.com and i'll send you the picture of the kit. If your interested in a kit PLEASE post here!! Price should be around $250 for the total kit!

1st gens have a small area and I doubt there would be any point in doing this mod. Heck I already have 50% of my dash in the plastic because of my dash kit for the avic-n2. It wouldn't flow well with the car since the door panels are just leather.

Bryan your such a negitive nancy i'll show you the pic later tonight and you'll see how much stuff you get.
If we only can get 2-3 people I may just buy 7 kits and try to sell them on ebay or something. I really, really want this dashkit.

Ok, pricing is $299 and we only need FIVE people. If I understand correctly (and I rarely do) then all I have to do is show him this thread with 5 people saying "I want one" and they'll be made.
So:
I want one.
DSxGS300 you want one too.
So thats 3 more people we need. Anyone else interested?

Looks like a sticker to me... doesn't have the depth of real blackwood.
I just re-installed my brother's (Link 13) wood pieces in his '94 - had a friend spray them with a black 'pearl' candy. Came out sweet! Looks like dark cherry/walnut in the sun, black in the shade. Did the same thing on my second-gen wood. Looks like the factory could have done it!
I guess I should take & post pictures...
