After I lowered my car with teins and put the 18's on I have a light chattering noise in my front end. It chatters just a little when I hit small bumps in the road. I've checked everything in the front end area to make sure it's tight and can't figure it out. I was wondering if it was something that came with lowering the car or what?

possible I suppose. I'll have to check them out when I get home tonight. Shouldn't be to hard to change out. Just raise the motor a couple inches and throw some new ones in. How much are new ones from the dealer? Are the na jza80 supra mounts the same or any cheaper?

Well my car made a chattering noise or rattle on my car before I replaced them. Just trying to help out. If you can't find anything wrong with your suspension you are obviously going to have to look elsewhere.
Motor mounts are ~$90 each.

I checked all the suspension related stuff and it seems to be tight.
Thanks for the info Pianoman. I guess i'll throw those on the things to buy list for when I change out my timing belt.

Check your control arms. Jack the car up and pull the tire back and forth. There may be noise between the knuckle and the control arm. I was told that the control arm busings are worn when this happens. Also check your brake calipers My old calipers made noise when going over bumps so I just replaced them and I no longer hear the noise. on both of my front calipers bolts had broken (due to stress? or shoddy work? I'm not sure if this is common but it won"t hurt to check. Hope this give you some piece of mind as I know noises that you can't pinpoint are obnoxious.

I have 20's, and after I lowered my car I started hearing a metal GRINDING noise, but only on right turns and only if I hit a bump on a R turn, turned out to be the metal outer wheel well trim, and I just removed it, problem solved
