well in my excitement
I didn't even realize that I had been had by Raybestos
they painted NA supra brakes with Supra on them
I can't (*&!#$%*(*&%(!#&% believe this crap
the guy @ rockauto started to 2nd guess me, and I was like WHAT?! So I gave him FSM info on both brakes, and pictures. And had someone I know that works at a toyota dealer call in. I'm a whole new level of pissed off at the moment. Usually places like this sell them for so cheap because they are going to get your old ones back, but they will take ANY brakes back actually, you could have 911 turbo brakes sent to you and give them brakes off your gremlin in return. Most people return the original brakes, so they end up making out well.
but in this case www.rockauto.com look at 1996 supra tt and na part #s are the same
originally I was just reporting raybestos to the better biz bureau, but now it's both of them.
well I gues now we all know not to trust any sites that sell the reman brakes

So, wait did I misread that thread because it looks like you ended up not ordering what you really wanted?
Supra brakes would be awesome, FO SHO.
EDIT: Ok your post explains that. Supra brakes would be aweomse, though, I hope you get 'em for a good price. I love mods that are inexpensive and also kick ***, which is why I only have a STB I guess.

well I found a decent price from a local toyota dealer
$604 for the front set, with hangers/carriers and hardware, and possibly the shims (if not they are $60)

Wow I just read all the bs you went through. I've had some similar problems buying performance parts. It just goes to show that most people are out to make a buck. At the same time I'd have to commend the company for allowing you to return them so at least you weren't stuck with some stock gs calipers with the surpa logo on them. Let me know how stopping improves once they are done!!

I got the brake rotors and pads for $369 from www.raceshopper.com (the rotors are made to order from SP performance and take about 5 days after payment to ship)), my stainless lines I got about 14 months ago (they are goodridge, bought locally), and the TT calipers I am buying from a contact @ toyota and going them a favor (it's a one time price deal for me only sorry wish I could share)
bryan your front offset is plenty large enough to accomadate the supra brakes
if you have 17 inch or larger wheels you can fit them height wise, but you have to have 8.5 inch width (typically) I have a 38 offset and the min. I think is 28 for supra brakes, so I bought a +15 spacer from www.optauto.com (researched it, best price I could find). So with the spacer I have a 23 offset, I wanted a little leeway/room for error
