I am going to bite the bullet and get the insert that allows for a one DIN stereo head unit and have the "storage area" uner it replacing the other DIN area. Now I need to get a stereo to replace the stock Lexus/Pioneer head unit.

Any suggestions? I want to keep it looking as close to stock (boring, black, etc) as possible. I HATE CARS THAT HAVE NOTICABLY DIFFERENT STEREOS.

I like that. Clean, simple, elegant.
So....any suggestions?

you want boring and black? stay stock? Actually most stereos are black, but now most have cool illuminations and stuff. If you search google you will find something to your liking I imagine, good look. I know alpine and pioneer are mostly black, but if your looking for something without the color they have, good luck man, its hard to find. I like mine, It has lots of colors to choose from, green..is closest to stock and thats what I stick with most of the time, that or blue. Anyway, the model on mine is Lanzar SVDVD18, pretty much any pioneer is black with green buttons.
