Default Tire wear with lowering

I lowered my car with the eibach springs, i believe1 1/4". Im running 245 45 17s. THe inside of the tires is wearing really fast. like 8000 miles. I spun out getting off the freeway in the rain yesterday, scared the ***** out of me. The shop I go to said, it is as far as it can gor, whatever that means. What does that mean? Can anything be done? Anybody else with this problem?

Thanks

I flip my tires every 6k and my tires have not lasted longer than 14k for me. Once you lower the 1st gen more than 1 inch, you will notice camber and inside wear. Tirerack.com sells rear camber plugs for 29.95.

I have no issue with the rear tires, but my fronts wear on the inside even though the car is not very low (Eibachs) and there is very little negative camber. It seems that these cars just eat front tires.

camber kits fix the camber on our cars. BUT there is only a camber bit for the rear(or vice versa) but the main wear problems are on the front and they do not make one for the front.

If you are lowered on Eibachs, don't waste your money on camber kits for the rear. The only significant wear happens in the front.
