There are many companies that have made suspensions for the first Gen GS here are some...
Eibach 1" drop
Tein 2 " drop
Blitz 3" drop
Tein type CS, ask LexAristo
and more
There is also Airrunner which is really nice if you wanted to go with an air suspension

Right now im running Blitz springs with KYB GR-2's, I was suprised to feel the car handle the drop good with no bounce, also there is no gap which I like. Hope this helps...

I AM LOOKING INTO GETTING COIL BUT I AM CONCERNED ABOUT UNVENVEN TIRE WEAR WITH SUCH EXTREME DROP (3"). DID YOU DO ANYTHING TO REMEDY THIS PROBLEM, IF YOU DO HAVE UNEVEN TIRE WEAR?

I do have a lot of uneven tire wear, for some reason my rear passenger side tire wears out faster than anyother tire on the car. The front seem to do fine but the back are the ones that wear out quick. But I love the drop...

I have the same problem... Before they wear our too much in the rear, I went to discount tire to flip them. So now the inside of the tire is showing on the outside. So they'll last me longer. I hate spending 1200 bucks on my damn tires. This is the 2nd set I have bought already.

JIC also makes coilovers

There will probably be more manufactuers in the japanese market. Talk to carson toyota or memofab.com and see what they can do. A camber kit will help with tire wear along with alignments

Default The Rub

I was wondering if anybody had any information they could help me out with.... I just put some 20's on my 1st gen GS and when I go over bumps or around turns ( not even fast ) the tires rub on the body in the front and in the back.... Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks.

You can do 1 of 3 things.

- Change tires to a lower profile and size.

-Camber your rear

- Roll/Pull you fenders.

the uneven tire wear is because of an aligment issue. A rule of thumb: everytime you get new wheels you need a new aligment. The 20's are rubbing? LexAristo might be right. but also, your 20's might have a way too positive or way to negative offset. If you go too negative when you go over a bump in a straight line, it will hit the fender, if it is too positive it will hit the liner. not meaning to sound like a know it all
just my .02

Where can I get the Blitz springs and camber plates?

Our cars do not have camber plates.
