Default New stereo- need harness! HELP! (94 GS300)

Where can I find a wiring harness for a new stereo head unit?

I have a local shop telling me they don't make a harness for my 1994 GS300.
Is that true? If so...HOW DO PEOPLE GET A NEW HEAD UNIT WITHOUT CUTTING THE WIRES AND MAKING THEIR OWN CONNECTIONS?

I want to aboid this, as does the local shop. They don't like doing that unless it is a POS car. Their policy.

HELP!

There isn't a harness for our cars and the dash kit was released just about 2 years ago...You dont have to cut the wires but instead just tap into them..Also, you may not get the best sound from the factory system when you replace the headunit with an aftermarket one..

Default Damn That Sucks

How is there not a harness???

That's just silly.

There isn't a Toyota harness that is interchangeable?

I guess if there is no option, they are going to have to tap into the wires.

Also, what is the deal I read about the amp being a problem? Should they divert the amp all together and just bypass it?

The toyota harness is for cars without a factory amp..The factory speakers are 2 ohm speakers and the radio may not work properly because of that..You may also want to know that you have 4"component speakers in the front, 4" coaxials in the rear and 1-10" in the rear deck..I dont know of a radio that can power all of that..

Wrong! The pioneer systems are 4ohms, the NAKS may be 2ohms. however I KNOW THE PIONEER SYSTEMS ARE 4OHMS.

Dammit johnee, We both are right and wrong the fronts are 2 ohms and the rears are 4 ohms. I just went to the garage to check all 4 of mine. I'm assuming they did this so they could either get away with using less power in the rear or to help the rears to match the fronts in output.

Sorry you can't read.

No one wants your ***. YOU ARE AN ***. No one is obsessed with *** except you. Stop trying to deny it. Practice your reading, Einstein.

Another reason you can't read: I was serching for a "DIAGRAM" (that's like a drawing. You know...what your mom hangs up on the fridge when you come home with them from school? In crayon?)

The search you have is great. I found that yesterday. I was specifically looking for a DIAGRAM there, genius.
