Thanks Epik for a reply.

Did you get a chance to open up the resonator to know if it is flow-through? I am thinking about replacing the stock resonators with flow-through like the Magnaflow muffler.

Thanks again, and I enjoy reading your mod.

the stock resonators are junk for making power.. just look at how the piping goes in the side and has to make a 90* turn to go out.. and it is 2" piping!! No way it is "flow-thru" not sure what you mean by that.. of course it has to flow thru, it is an exhaust. the magnaflow would be an improvement.. heck anything would. Just depends on the sound you want.

stay tuned for more mod updates on my car. i _WILL_ be driving it again this year!!

My Resenators are completly removed. It has a nice sound in the cab and outside the car between 1000 and 3000 rpms, higher than 3000 and theres really no sound difference. If you want a sound clip let me know and I can make you one. As far as replacing them, its not loud at all. It sounds good in my opinion. Anyway, let me know.

Thanks Abear. What muffler do you have? Did you replace the resonator with anything else, like better flowing resonator, or just put pipe in their place?

If it is not too much trouble for you, I would appreciate the sound bite.

Thanks.

No, I replaced it with a straight through pipe. I have the stock mufflers, the only reason I got my resenators removed is for the flow. I was going to do a whole cat-back custom exhaust, but I'm waiting till after I got turbo. I need to get your email to send you the clip.

I dont know how long it was, I had a shop do it for me, my dads friend works there so i got it done for like 60 bucks, which isnt too bad imo. the sound is a little distorted in the clip, but it defintly sounds good.
