Default Timing Belt

I changed the timing belt lately, water pump and etc. I have the feeling that the car is a little noisier after the change. I could be wrong but can anyone tell me how I can check if there is any thing wrong from there?

Cool

Did you change the tensioner?

Turbogs300,
No, the tensioner was not changed. I am driving a NA, not a turbo one.

Good for you! It doesn't make any difference whether it's turbo'd or NA, it still has 2 tensioners
One for the timing belt and one for the engine belt.

So, how can I tell if the noise is caused by the change of the timing belt? or it should be totally unrelated?

Changing the timing belt won't affect the noise level. However if the timing belt tensioner or engine drive belt tensioner was not replaced and it needed to be, it could be noisier or squeal from loose or bad bearings in the tensioner. You'll need to pinpoint where the noise is coming from to see if it's the tensioners or something else.

well, you can rule out the accessories serpentine belt by removing it and starting the car. if the noise is gone, then it was the spring loaded tensioner for the serpentine belt making the noise. it wont hurt the car to turn it on for a few seconds with no acc belt. it is a common problem for the bearings in that tensioner to squeak.

Be sure to keep your tensioners well lubricated, one of mine just locked up which caused a broken serpentine belt. 2 bolts were siezed on the tensioner also,
