Default taking apart exhaust system at home*read*

is the exhaust system something that i am able to take apart at home. The reason why i ask is because i want to remove my cats to take a look inside to see if i need to replace it. Thanks.

Cool

Sure you can remove it, however the bolts and nuts will be pretty rusty and may require a good a good soaking with penetrating oil. Also you might want to get some new exhaust gaskets or some exhaust sealer to seal any leaks from taking it apart.
