Theoretically, a W58 from a SC300 would fit. It's not be an easy project by an means.

You could search the forums. It has been covered a few times. But it is a pain...you gotta make an extra pedal..relocate the emergency brake..etc etc

if my business partner sells his 92 5 spd sc300 as a rolling chassis i'm going to go for the w58 and act 6 puck in it into my 93 gs300. i know the w 58 is not a very strong tranny (~400rwhp) but my power goals for this season are modest for a twin turbo 2jz.. so it should hold.

stay tuned.

Epik,
A guy up here in Columbia is on his 3rd tranny in his SC300. He is making a little over 400 but not much. So if you do decide to go with that transmission be carfeful, it is much weaker than I had expected.

Good luck Epik, hope it works out for ya. I was contemplating trying a 6-speed for a while but I have decided against it.

I have been planning the MT swap since I even bought the car, but things run in stages. Because of the abuse that my car sees on the drift circuit, running the w58 I would be keeping my power down to 350rwhp. 400 may be fine for just driving daily, but clutch kicking and dropping down and shocking the tranny so much i will just keep the power down and run redline shockproof heavy weight g/o and hope for the best. my other obtainable option is the r154 for the jza70 1jz supra. keeping my eyes open for that too.

not sure if i will get to the tranny swap this year or not.. so many other things going on and a full schedule of events i dont want to miss.

The supra MK4 getrag 6 speed box should just strap straight on. The MK4 supra hanbrake can be modified to fit on the tunnel and also you can use the pedal box and clutch cylinder from a MK4 supra. I know this because my aristo has these MOD's. That or if you don't mind a JDM ie right hand drive motor and have a few quid to spare you could buy my manual 6 speed pimped twin turbo 2JZ-GTE engined street racer with circa 400 bhp.

20 KILOS, that's alot of coke !!!!! That's way too much coke for that car, it's nice, but for that price you could get a much nicer car like a supra or TT 300zx and have change left over.
