is this good for a replacement
Hey guys,
I messed up my antenna motor and was looking for a replacement but couldn't find any.
i found this replacement on e-bay going for about $30.
has anyone ever tried it before? if anybody has, how reliable is it and is it easy to install like the stock antenna motor?

That's essentially the same generic antenna you could buy at your local auto store or Wal-Mart for $25 or $30. I tried fitting the Lexus housing to one of those generic antennas and couldn't make it work. I did not attempt to use the included strap, although I'm sure it will work with a little creative engineering. I took mine apart and repacked the gears with grease and it work just fine...for another 2 months. Now I just leave it down because I listen to Satellite radio most of the time anyway.
