*need help rear bumper*

i have a buddy that just got his body kit for his gs. we tryed putting on the rear lip but it doesnt fit. i know he had to get a JDM front to have the lip fit. my question is, is there any differents between a US rear bumper then a JDM rear bumper? would he need a JDM rear? he has a Devils body kit looks like this

i did search but didnt find anything. so if anybody know please let me know thanks
