Default Just bought a 2000 gs400- problem with nav screen

I just purchased my vehicle- a 2000 GS400 and the entire nav screen and radio don't work. There is power to the screen but no picture. Took it in and lexus told me the nav computer is missing out of the trunk. I priced the nav computer and it is pretty pricey. Is there any aftermarket piece that can purchased instead? Is there anyway just to get the radio working for the time being? Need help please! Thanks.

i'd go back to the person who sold it to you and have them pay for the nav computer.

either that or - time to upgrade... the only problem is that the nav also controlled the themostat... might have to buy more stuff just to swap it over to a schematic where you can use an aftermarket radio.

good luck with it. i'd check some junkyards to see if you can get it or check the classifieds- some people have swapped out their original nav units.
