I just removed my HKS cam gears due to deterioration of the teeth. I'm going to try and get another set of adjustable gears and I'll definitely be playing with them on the dyno.

I believe HKS cams are available in 256s as well. I was thinking of 264/264 in order to have a balanced power band.. they are way down the road though. I need a real LSD first.. next on the list is the Tomei Technical Trax 2 way.

I would really try running a 264 on the intake and a stock cam on the exhausts. I have been doing quite a bit of research on head flow lately, and might work better for low end power. But definatly get some cam gears, the exhaust cam timing can really effect your exhaust pressures and increase spool times.

Then after you dyno it with that setup, put on a 264 on the exhaust and see what it helps with. I plan on doing this sometime in the future...not with my car as I would need a TT head because the N/A head doesn't have an exhaust cam .

do you mean that you cant use an exhaust cam from HKS or other for the NA? Dont understand.. I know the NA has the distributor gear on it, is that what you mean?

Sorry.. rambling.. When I get the money i'm going to pick up some new gears and see what i can do for spool in the stock cams anyway, so i'll definitely be posting up. As it is now, I'm going to the dyno again on Friday.. tuning 4 other cars too , and i'm going to mess with boost and some more fuel on mine.. see if i can break 400. Going to have to sneak it in at 1.19 bar.. just under Boost Cut's nose..

Yeah, they don't put the distributor gear on the exhaust cams. Oh well.
