Some pics of me out at an event this weekend testing my new setup. On breakin boost right now.. 12 psi making 320rwhp. Also putting my new Racing Logic coilovers thru their paces..

Very small venue, I cant wait to get out and stretch her legs at a bigger event. Thanks for the opportunity though, DriftWilkes.

Yea, tell me about the rocks.. on this very tight gymkhana style course they wanted us to circle the cones in some spots that were only as wide as my car is long.. hachi's ruled this course..

I'm running the new Racing Logic coilovers.

Here is a review of them I wrote also.. and many more pics. Racing Logic review thread lnk.. CL
PM me for more info.

thanks for the replies.. i understand that several people there got vids of the event.. i'll def pass them along.. the blowoff valves HAVE to be heard.

Yes, borrowed them from a friend to ride around on since I needed to sell my Work VS to finance the motor rebuild/refresh. I have the full set on.. the offset is not the best looking, but they work.

for the moment i'm still running it automatic (JDM Aristo tranny)..keeping the power below 400 rwhp to keep it alive while I collect r154 swap parts.

I'm actually running 1 bar (14.5 psi) of boost now, I guesstimate about 360rwhp at the moment.. running to boost cut limit (1.2 bar or roughly 17 psi) should put the car at about 400hp. I hope to get to the dyno later this week again and tweak the fuel a little.

On a side note, it is getting great mileage..considering.. on the road trip back from the event I got 340 miles on the tank before low fuel came on. That is almost as good as my best tank NA (370).

looks good I'm currently building a 1st gen drift aristo myself. I've been drifting out here in california for about 3 years I decided to sell my s-14 and try something different. I'm planning on doing the maual swap although I'm not sure how to handle the clutch pedal and master cylinder.

How have you handled the lack of swaybars issue. Also are you just power overing to drift?

The lack of swaybars does suck, but i'm able to get the car pretty stiff and predictable on the Racing Logic suspension. I use a variety of techniques.. power over wasnt one of them til recently when I finished the GTE buildup. Braking drift, feint, and e brake( yes, still a pedal) are constants.. and on some of the higher speed events (DG Trials, Atlanta Drift Expo..etc) even a little inertial drift.
Mostly to initiate the drift though I manual shift the auto for now and drop down a gear going in.. basically a clutch kick.. FWIW.. this is NOT good for your tranny.

Good luck with your project.. post some pics.
