well guys the rain officially killed my stock nak amp.... water got into my trunk and got near the amp... what are my options? can i have an aftermarket amp hooked up to it? or is my only option is to find another nak stock amp?

no i know for sure it is a nak, the player says nakamichi on it as well as the amp in the trunk, it says nakamichi corp as well. It was also diagnosed by the dealer as a nakamichi amp... but luckily i was able to fix it by drying off the unit.
thanks for all the help people

You need to get the trunk leak fixed first. Then why don't you take the amp apart. There might be an internal fuse inside you could simply replace.
If not, you might be able to look at the circuitboard and see exactly where the circuitry got fried. An electronics shop could repair the broken contact/contacts for probably under $100.
Just a thought.
EDIT: oh you got it fixed. Well in case anyone else isn't as lucky I'll leave this post up.
