i have decided ....... well not really decided... but more confused on painting the car red or keeping it black........ i need opinion's here

I really think that black is a very classy color....****, I would love my car to be black. As far as red goes, I think it really depends on what type of red it is.

you paint that car red and about four of us will be 'talking' to you at the next meet, outside behind the garage. Go with a darker black if anything....

 

this is the same color as D1 aristo's .... (hks aristo)..... i doubt ill be excluded from anything!

 

he wants it too match his red velvet thong with the pink fur heart on the back..... whats wrong with that...

I say if its a darker red like that aristo, go for it, as long as it isnt bright.

 

Go for the red be ready for mad attention though

 

Well, if money is not an issue and you want to go with red I say go for it. (It would be more expensive to paint the door jambs, under the hood, trunk. etc...)

 

a dark red would be different but it would look hot though.....why don't you go for jade pearl instead haha j/k

 

wow i like black but in red it reminds me of a bmw 5-series
is it gana be for daily driver or weekend car? daily driver id go black weekend red ^ ^ any ways both looks hot

 

I wouldn't do a true red on a sedan like the GS... although I think it looks good on the 2GS pictured above, I think it's because that car has a roll cage and was obviously built for racing (drifting).

I remember seeing red BMW 535s and Mercedes E320s back in the early 1990s and thinking it just was too sporty for a sedan.

That being said, I am definitely a big fan of colors... never been a big fan of black or white cars, just too subtle for me.

If you went with a color like the IS350 Matador metallic red or Spectra Blue from the 2GS... Now THAT would be killer!

I guess the question boils down to whether you want a VIP look or a show car look.

 

THIS IS NOT A DAILY DRIVER CAR..... this is STRICKLY SHOW.... and yes i do wanna be vip ... and yes i allready kno how much this is gonna cost and dont care but that red was too bright but the red i want is that HKS D1 aristo red!

 

my bike's will be painted allso so it will match the car too!

 

I say keep the car black. Get new rims, air suspension, bbk, and a new vip kit. Red won't flow right since I honestly think the 1st gen body only looks good in black, dark red, grey, and all white.
